ANNOUNCING THE NEW PHARMACEUTICAL BENEFIT MANAGER

iSurity has partnered with CorVel and ScriptSolutions to provide workers’ compensation pharmacy benefit management services to its injured employees. This means convenience for injured employees and cost savings for our insured’s. The KICK-OFF date is April 1, 2008.

Qualifying injured employees with active claims will be receiving a Pharmacy Card, which may be used for convenient pharmaceutical services at a wide network of participating pharmacies. The program ensures that injured employees get the pharmaceuticals they need, when they need them.

The CorVel website (www.corvel.com) provides a list of participating pharmacies, which can be sorted by pharmacy chain, city and state, or zip code. At the CorVel website, click on the following path to access the list of participating pharmacies : "Provider Look-up " » "Find a Provider" » "Search" » "Select A Network". Next, click the drop down box and select "CorCare RX" and enter the search data required to locate a participating pharmacy near you.

Each insured will be receiving a supply of temporary cards that should be given to an employee when an on-the-job injury occurs. This temporary card will allow an injured worker to receive a temporary supply of medication after an on-the-job injury. The injured worker will not be required to pay out-of-pocket expense for the prescription. Once the claim is received by iSurity, if applicable, a permanent card will be issued. This card will allow the injured worker to continue to receive prescriptions related to the on-the-job injury with no out-of-pocket expense.
